The Elaflex hose configurator is an alternative online platform to our printed catalogue. The requested hose assembly can be configured in a few simple steps –  i.g. for an enquiry, technical documentation or easy to find additional information about the product and its suitability for the application.

The new selection guide on the start page provides an easier method of selecting the choice of hose and coupling. The filter by category gives a better ability to sort by product. It is also possible to enter the medium into the search field to check for compatible hoses. The configurator ranks firstly the recommended hoses for the best requirements.

Elaflex has been manufacturing since 2016 'Camlock' couplings – 100% guaranteed to EN 14420-7 standard. Until now male and female couplings (with female thread or integrated hose tail) as well as dust plugs and caps have been available in stainless steel, DN19-100.

Starting in the second quarter 2017 the existing Camlock product range from own production will be expanded to include all types and sizes in brass and then in the third quarter 2017 dust plugs AVB and caps AMB in aluminium.

In the Autumn of 2017 a special version EASYLOC in stainless steel will be available. This female coupling incorporates a lever lock in sizes DN 19-50. It prevents accidental lifting off the levers for example when subjected to vibration.

Tanker operators often have to connect to difficult-to-access heating oil filler inlets. So far, they use improvised adapters to overcome this.

Elaflex now offers a simple and reliable solution. The adapter KR 50-2½'' has a VK 50 / 60° alu elbow and 2½" BSP female nut. For Switzerland, Elaflex offer a version KR 50 - 2¾ with 2¾" female nut.

Elaflex recommend that all road tankers should be equipped with the new adapter.
