Safe handling of hydrogen – ELAFLEX at Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe 2024

ELAFLEX Group will be exhibiting at Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe from 23 to 24 October 2024. At stand 1B20 in hall A1 of Messe Hamburg, trade visitors will find solutions and products for the safe and effective handling of hydrogen (H2), liquid hydrogen (LH2) and liquefied CO2 (Carbon Capture).

Hydrogen is one of the most important alternative fuels/energy sources in the context of the energy transition. The Capture and Storage of Carbon dioxide (CCS) prevents the emission of greenhouse gases when their generation cannot be completely avoided. H2, LH2 and CO2 place enormous demands on handling and storage. As the leading international specialist for refuelling technology, ELAFLEX Group has been offering system solutions for the handling of alternative energy sources (ammonia, hydrogen, LNG, CNG) and liquefied CO2 on the market for many years now. ELAFLEX experts therefore have market-leading expertise in the field of H2/LH2. Ensuring maximum operator safety, uncompromising environmental protection, well designed ergonomics and above-average flow rates along the entire transfer chain is the focus of the ELAFLEX Group's globally engaged hydrogen specialists. Trade visitors will find the following solutions and products at stand 1B20 in hall A1 at Messe Hamburg:

  • Nozzles with corresponding hose assemblies for manual (N-LH2) or semi-automatic, pneumatically assisted (N-LH2-P) refuelling of vehicles with cryogenic hydrogen (LH2) from MannTek
  • Newly developed hydrogen refuelling set for vehicles with 350 bar (ELAFLEX N-H2-H35) or 700 bar (ELAFLEX N-H2-H70UHF)
  • New TPED trailer valves/manifolds and quick couplers from Oasis to significantly increase the flow rate when refuelling with compressed hydrogen
  • H2+ hose assemblies, fittings and ERV-H2+ rubber expansion joints from ELAFLEX with an ultra low permeation rate for the safe transfer of 100% hydrogen, 100% methane or in varying mixing ratios (hythane) in the low-pressure range
  • Dry couplings and hose assemblies for the sophisticated handling of liquefied CO2 in CCS processes
