ELAFLEX Group will be exhibiting again at HTWE, the leading hydrogen trade fair
Hamburg, September 2026 – from 20 to 22 October 2026, the annual ‘Hydrogen Technology World Expo’ trade fair will once again draw the attention of an international audience of industry professionals to advanced hydrogen solutions. ELA FLEX Group welcomes visitors to Stand 6M10 in Hall B6 at Messe Hamburg. The focus of the fair presentation will be on safe solutions for the handling of compressed hydrogen (CH₂), liquid hydrogen (LH₂), liquefied CO₂ for use in CCS and CCUS processes, and ammonia.
Hydrogen already plays a central role in decarbonisation and is becoming increasingly important in view of the objectives set. At the same time, CH₂, LH₂ and CO₂ place high demands on storage and transfer. As a leading international specialist in
refuelling technology, ELAFLEX Group has been developing and supplying reliable system solutions for handling alternative energy sources such as LPG, ammonia, hydrogen, LNG, CNG and liquefied CO₂ for many years. ELAFLEX Group‘s extensive experience and seamlessly integrated expertise ensure the highest levels of operator safety, ergonomic handling, consistent environmental protection and above-average flow rates throughout the entire transfer chain.
At stand 6M10 in Hall B6, the international trade audience can expect to see the following products and solutions, amongst others:
- TPED trailer valves and manifolds, as well as quick-connect couplings from Oasis. These enable a significant increase in flow rate whilst ensuring the safe loading and unloading of compressed hydrogen at pressures of up to 520 bar.
- Dry couplings and hose assemblies for the safe handling of ammonia and the demanding handling of liquefied CO₂ as part of CCS and CCUS processes.
- LH₂/sLH₂ couplings, including matching hose assemblies and optional breakaway couplings from MannTek, for refuelling vehicles and ships with cryogenic hydrogen (LH₂ and sLH₂). In contrast to the previous use of open, bolted connections without shut-off valves, MannTek’s implementation of the quick-connect principle—including valve assemblies—significantly reduces the need for ‘purging’ and cooling down the lines. This delivers a significant efficiency gain for LH₂ transfers and, for the first time, enables refuelling operations on a production scale.
- Newly developed hydrogen refuelling kits for vehicles operating at 700 bar (ELAFLEX N-H70 HD) or 350 bar (ELAFLEX N-H2-H35), optionally fitted with an infrared data interface.
- H₂ hose assemblies, rubber expansion joints and fittings from ELAFLEX with exceptionally low permeation rates. The components in this portfolio are suitable for the safe transfer of hydrogen. For applications involving high-purity media, such as in electrolysers, the ERV-H2+ rubber expansion joints are also available with a PTFE liner.
- Special expansion joints from ditec for use in electrolysers.
To ensure reliable monitoring of the various applications, the ELAFLEX Group also offers electronic leak detection systems from SGB. These are specifically designed for demanding applications in potentially explosive atmospheres (Ex/Atex).
